Repairing American Clay

American Clay is not my most durable plaster but it is hard, touches up easily, and is my most user friendly plaster.  If you need proof check out this great video from American Clay on how to patch up nail holes.  The same technique goes well when repairs are needed.  Notice the dry clay?  After every application I dry a sample amount enough for repairs.  You should always dry your samples to keep the color integrity, and write the date or tint code on your sample.  The tint code is on the tint bag you use to tint your plaster.  If you are planning on applying or having someone apply American Clay in your home or business give us a call for some pointers or an estimate.  Cheers!
